THANK ABBA FOR THE MUSIC COMES HOME TO CARLISLE!

Published on Apr 17, 2022

Calling all Dancing Queens and Super Troupers! Thank ABBA For The Music, the UK’s leading and most authentic ABBA theatre show, returns to the Sands Centre in Carlisle on Saturday, 23rd April 2022 (7.30pm performance) for an evening of nostalgic ABBA and 70’s fun.

From Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia to Super Trouper and Fernando, all of ABBA’s greatest and most memorable hits are performed with unrivalled authenticity in an action-packed two-hour show.

The nine-piece band is backed throughout by interactive video projection depicting key moments in ABBA’s career.  With stunning replica stage costumes, a sprinkling of tongue-in-cheek Swedish humour and of course ABBA’s spectacular trademark harmonies, this really is the ultimate feel-good party show!  The show finale transports the audience back to 1974 and ABBA’s victory at the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo.

Ken White, Director of Carlisle-based Elite Productions Group, said: "The show last appeared to a sell-out Sands Centre audience in 2019. We’re so looking forwarding to bringing the show back home to Carlisle in April after sell-out dates elsewhere throughout the UK.  It's sure to be a fab evening celebrating the wonderful music of ABBA".

Grab your platforms and flares! ABBA and 70’s fancy dress is optional (but encouraged) and certainly adds to the fun. You’re sure to be having the time of your life!

Tickets are £24.00 each and available online at https://betterboxoffice.co.uk or via the venue box office on 01228 633766. Tickets may be subject to booking fee(s).
